Vital hub of leisure
CLUB Mossman is celebrating its 80th birthday and is holding a promotion program as a thank you to all its members.

There will be two months of promotions, which started on Sunday, July 6, with a weekly prize giveaway every Sunday with the major prize draw on Sunday, August 31.
Mossman Memorial Bowls Club Incorporated was founded on September 1, 1945, during the war years, meaning that Club Mossman (formerly Mossman Memorial Bowls Club) has a deep-rooted history in the local community.
Over the past 80 years, the club has evolved into a community hub, welcoming members and visitors from all walks of life.
At the club’s first committee meeting in 1945 it was decided that civilian members be admitted and to officially register the club as a bowling association.
During 2023 and 2024, the club underwent major renovations and has now cemented its place as a destination for those wanting a scrumptious meal, enjoy an ice-cold beer, have a roll up on the undercover bowls green, play some pool or to enjoy the modern gaming and sports bar facilities.

The club has a membership base of over 2000 members and it is increasing daily. There are over 2400 followers on the Facebook page and on average over the past month the club has reached 457 people with each post.
The website clubmossman.com.au has 1500 unique visitors every month and this trend has been consistent since the new website was launched in 2025.
Over the past three years Club Mossman has donated almost $100,000 to local charity and sporting groups and non-for-profit organisations, individuals, schools and the local hospital.
Club Mossman employs about 30 locals and is continuing to expand and, with the support of members and guests the promotional period, it will continue to go from strength to strength.
