Through changing times, raising family and building a business from the ground up, Paul and Jill have navigated life side by side.

“We didn’t get to 60 years on romance alone. We got there with patience and the ability to compromise, laughter – we learned early on you can either laugh or argue about the small stuff and we chose to laugh, forgiveness, because no one is perfect and a stubborn belief that our marriage was worth the effort, every single day.”

The couple are the creators of Simply Hampers ... Simply the Best, the popular gift hamper business that also celebrates 20 years of success in the community this year.

And they have no plans to slow down. What began as a simple idea has grown into a thriving gift hamper business known for its thoughtful presentation, quality products and personal touch.

“We’ve always believed that giving should feel personal,” Jill Morris says. “Whether it’s a corporate gift, a Christmas hamper or something to celebrate a special moment, it’s about making someone feel seen and appreciated.”

Behind the scenes, Paul’s steady support and Jill’s creative vision have proven to be a powerful partnership – both in marriage and in business.

For them, Simply Hampers is not just a business – it’s a passion. The joy of creating something beautiful, providing employment for some very special locals, supporting local suppliers and helping people celebrate life’s important moments continues to inspire them each day.

“We are so grateful,” Jill says.

“For our customers, our family and the friendships we’ve made along the way. None of this happens in isolation and we are grateful for the opportunity to act as role models for our grandchildren, to show them the value of commitment and hard work”.
