AFTER many weeks of hope and anticipation, Tin Shed members finally got to find out which lucky person would eventually walk away with a cash sum large enough to make anyone’s year.

Paul Spicer was that lucky individual, as the winner of the members’ draw which had, week by week, worked its way up to $9100.

I asked Paul whether he was a ‘local, local’ to which he replied: “Very nearly, even though I live in Adelaide most of the year.”

“I have been up to Port Douglas many times over a number of years,” he said, “Plus, I’ve been a Tin Shed member for many years, so I’m nearly a local.”

“My daughter is getting married in Port soon as well,” Mr Spicer said.

Well, the draw amount now returns to $1000 and the build-up starts all over again.

Once again, well done Paul.

I’m off to imagine what I could have done with nine grand, so for now it’s Gazza signing out.
