Happy Easter plant sale
IF your garden needs a makeover or just a colourful lift – don’t miss The Friends of the Botanic Gardens huge plant sale on Sunday 29 March.

This pre-Easter sale in the gardens salt water lakes nursery area is the perfect chance to buy a huge range of plants, some rare, at great prices.
FOBG volunteer Lee Ross said the friends would also be on hand to help with advice.
“All funds raised go towards buying plants and infrastructure, such as seating, to make the gardens an even better attraction for locals and visitors,” she said.
“We are a volunteer group who have been propagating plants for sale for more than 20 years,” she said.
Stock up on a range of plants ready to spend your Easter days in the garden or buy a growing Easter gift for friends or family.
Held from 8am to 12pm, on offer are many trees and shrubs, a range of medinillas and a variety of begonias, aroids and understory plants. Creepers and climbers, hanging baskets, hoyas, heliconias and gingers, potted and rhizomes are also available. The pre-Easter sale is at salt water lakes area, closest parking on Greenslopes St. Look for signs, access path opposite Little Street across the road from Cominos House.
