Grants up to $15,000
APPLICATIONS for Ports North grants of up to $15,000 for organisations making a meaningful difference across regional port communities are open.

Now in its third year, the fund supports community-led projects that build skills and capability in the maritime industry and related sectors, while also enhancing community wellbeing, strengthening cultural heritage and protecting the natural environment.
Ports North CEO Richard Stevenson said the initiative recognised the vital role local organisations played in supporting their communities.
“Across our nine port communities, we know there are organisations run by passionate volunteers with limited resources and even modest funding can make a real difference to their work on the ground,” he said.
Applications are open to organisations working to achieve one or more of the following outcomes:
Developing capability in the maritime industry or related industries
Enhancing community safety and wellbeing
Deepening cultural connection
Protecting and enhancing natural environments.
Applications close 15 March.
