Families at core
GUARDIANS & Co. founding directors’ husband and wife team Adrian and Joan Schincariol have made the decision to pour their heart and soul and money in providing a support service for NDIS participants and later My Aged Care clients with a home care package, partnering with Trilogy Care.
Mrs Schincariol said “our mission, our vision and our values are our compass in how we design and deliver our supports, how we foster a supportive culture with our participants, families and staff, how we beat to our mantra to learn, grow and thrive”.
“This is core to our organisation and we do this by in house training building on knowledge, skills and strategies for each of our participants putting their needs and goals front centre,” she said.
“Our slogan is ‘reach out for a support experience that will be a real game-changer’
“This is what it is all about, the experience for my aged care support at home and NDIS participants. One that enables them to feel listened to and valued as a person to dare to dream, to be supported to be independent, be part of their community. To participate in their home, in social activities and very much in decision making.
“Equally important is how families are inclusive in their loved ones support design and deliverance.
“I have come to learn firsthand that while our team and I have the expertise and experience on delivering flourishing outcomes for their loved ones.
“The family know their loved ones better, and for some still have to deal with changes, emotions and acceptance.
“This is important at Guardians & Co. to acknowledge this and work side by side in their loved one support journey.”
