The Goalpost Pictures production, starring Travis Fimmel, will be the largest series filmed to date at Screen Queensland Studios, Cairns. The new season will feature a new mystery, supporting cast and a fresh Far North Queensland setting.

In season three, Travis Fimmel reprises his role as James Cormack, picking up right as his long-lost brother Ritchie (George Mason) is about to stand trial for the 1999 murder of his best friend Liam Knox.

Set in tropical Far North Queensland, where Liam’s family runs a charter boat business, Cormack will risk everything to solve the toughest cold case of his career. Rose Riley returns as Jade alongside new cast members Lee Tiger Halley (‘Boy Swallows Universe’, ‘Beast of War’), Caroline Craig (‘Anzac Girls’) and Samson Alston (‘Year Of’).

It is estimated the production will contribute about $11.2 million to the local economy while employing around 135 cast and crew.

Screen Queensland CEO Jacqui Feeney said the series continued to highlight the state’s locations and storytelling strength.
